Why I am Attracted to Insects.

Image
Recently, I feel a bit like I have turned some people off with my love of insects, so I would like to talk about why I am attracted to insects. Insects are attractive to many boys as they grow up. However, as they gradually grew older. They lost interest in insects, and eventually, being an adult and liking insects is seen as a nerdy hobby. But I still I continue to little them. I did not like insects very much until I was in high school. When I became a college student and spent a lot of time at home during my Corona period, I found an insect toy when I was sorting through the closet of my house in my spare time, remembering the various moments of my life. When I found it, I didn't think much of it, but around the summer of that year, whenever I found an insect, I began thinking about  what kind of life these insects lead, and I researched information about various insects. My hobby has since grown to include visits to museums and other places, and has now become a fine hobby. Hob

Caucasian Beetle VS Atlas Beetle VS Moellenkampi Beetle

Image
This insect's name is  Caucasian beetle .   It is my most favorite insect.   He has three horns but not enough weight to beat other beetles. But why I like it is because of its cool shape and color. This metallic green and this shape that looks like a cross between a Stag Beetle and Hercules tickles my fancy. However, there are similar species of Caucasian beetles which are called Molenkampi beetle and Atlas beetle. This time, I'll introduce, the differences between them     Caucasian Beetle      Moellenkampi B eetle     Atlas Beetle       They are difficult to identify by  the upper horns, but the shape of the lower jaw horns can assist in judging the type. They have a glossy sheen, but it is a different color. It is green in Caucasus , brown in Atlas and red in Moellenkampi. Then while one of their commonalities is that they live on peninsulas and islands, they have a very aggressive nature and live in an area of high elevation on mountains. So far, the only diffe

Most Beautiful Butterfly "Morpho"

Image
I would like to introduce one of my favorite insects, the Morpho butterfly .  This butterfly is a bit famous among insect fans. There are 80 species of them and most of them are in Brazil.  Morpho from various angles It looks like the color is blue, but the Morpho not have real blue wings. This time, I won't to write about how it lives, but rather the mechanism why these wings look blue. The wings of this morpho butterfly have no blue pigment and it doesn't have a specific color. The scales regulate the wavelength of blue light. This is why they appear blue. So other insects often lose their beautiful colors because they gradually lose their pigmentation when they die, but morphos keep retain their beautiful colors even after death because they make their colors from form. By the way, if changing the trajectory of light refraction, does it change the color too? This is the Video link↓ Result of refracting light against Morpho wings. The reason why the color i
